SLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani spent a busy day witnessing the ongoing Exercise Azm-e-Nau 3 on Monday.
According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), he visited various formations and units participating in the exercise in the field and several logistics installations.
All the armed forces of Pakistan, including the Pakistan Air Force had been fully integrated in the exercise. The first phase of the exercise will end on April 19. During the visit, Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Khalid Shamim Wyane, Corps Commander Bahwalpur Lieutenant General Naeem Khalid Lodhi and other senior military officers accompanied the COAS.
