IPL 2010 Schedule: IPL Today’s match; RCB vs. MI and KKR vs. RR. There are two matches slated for today in the ongoing Indian Premiere League, season 3.

The first match is going to be between Royal Challengers Bangalore vs. Mumbai Indian at Bangalore’s Chennaswamy Stadium.

This match is going to begin at 4:PM, IST. This is one of the crucial match for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, though, if the Mumbai Indians don’t take it seriously, it won’t harm them.

In the mean time, the second match is going to be played at Kolkata’s Eden Garden’s stadium. Shah Rukh Khan’s team Kolkata Knight Riders would be taking over Rajasthan Royals here.

Though, there are less chances for the Saurav Ganguly led Kolkata team, but as this match is slated at their homeground, there would be many faces to cheer up them

Former Miss World and actress Aishwarya Rai, who was supposed to feature on Sony TV’s reality show "Dance Premier League", turned down the offer due to her busy schedules on films and not on account of remuneration, her publicist said on Tuesday.

A recent news story aired by a channel, suggested that Aishwarya was replaced by Madhuri Dixit for the reality shows, citing money as an issue. Aishwarya’s publicist said in a press statement that the report was total fiction. The show is now being judged by Rani Mukerji along with dance guru Shiamak Davar.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya is currently busy shooting with Sanjay Leela’s Guzaarish and ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s big budget bilingual tentatively titled Raavan/ Ashokavanam, being simultaneously made in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. According to sources, she plays the role of Rama’s wife Sita in this flick, a modernized epic of the Ramayana.

Bollywood star Salman Khan is the latest actor from tinsel town to have joined the micro-blogging site Twitter.

"Arbaaz ne kaha ke Tweet karna toh banta hai boss. Chalo now, whoever was being me, party over, baju hatto please (Arbaaz said that I must Tweet. So now whoever was being me, please move aside)," Salman said in his initial posts.

The actor was welcomed on Twitter by jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali who is amongst the most regular celebrities on the website.

"Hey guys please welcome the one and only superstar actor Salman Khan on Twitter @BeingSalmanKhan. Big shout to him," Farah posted.

While a lot of Bollywood actors have joined Twitter, stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Sushmita Sen, et al, are yet to get bitten by the Twitter bug

Amitabh Bachchan is caught in a political controversy yet again. The 67-year old-actor finds himself in the middle of a row over his presence at government functions in Mumbai and Pune.

While no official reason has been given, Bachchan’s presence at a government function in Mumbai last week has raised hackles in the Congress party, ostensibly because of Bachchan’s bitter relationship with the Gandhi family.

Later the same week, his son Abhishek’s posters were removed from an Earth Day function for which he had earlier been declared ambassador, organised by the Congress-run Delhi state government.

On Monday, the Congress party criticised Bachchan for being a brand ambassador for the state of Gujarat, whose chief minister has not been able to shake off the stigma of the infamous 2002 riots.

And Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan avoided the star at a Marathi convention, choosing instead to attend a day before Bachchan’s arrival.

“Am I hallucinating, or is there a pattern in all this!!!??” Bachchan wrote on his blog on Saturday.

Those who have followed Bachchan, or for that matter, the Gandhis closely may know of the bitter rift between the two once close families.

So for the Congress to shun the star seems to follow naturally. This is also not the first political party with which Bachchan has clashed.

Whether it was his campaign for the Uttar Pradesh government, his relationship with Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray or the MNS’s violent reaction to his statements, the star has always had an uneasy relationship with the political establishment of the country.

Bachchan’s closeness to former Congress ally Amar Singh and now to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is also a matter of much conjecture within political circles.

But many are questioning whether it is valid for a political party to question an individual’s choice of friends, or whether Bachchan himself has shifted loyalties once too often.

Bollywood star caught up in casting couch scandal

A leading Bollywood actor was embroiled in a sex scandal last night after being filmed apparently offering to promote the career of an aspiring actress if she slept with him.

An Indian television station broadcast footage of Shakti Kapoor, famous for playing movie villains, in a Mumbai hotel room propositioning an undercover reporter who was posing as the actress. Kapoor was also filmed naming Bollywood stars who he claimed had slept their way to success.

In the video clip, the actor said: "I want to make love to you ... and if you want to come in this line [of business] you have to do what I am telling [you] to do."

Kapoor has accused the television channel behind the sting of setting him up and denied any wrongdoing.

Bollywood, the Mumbai-based Hindu film industry, reacted to the scandal with a mix of faux outrage and weary resignation. While some demanded a boycott of Kapoor, others suggested his behaviour was commonplace in the Indian film industry.

Kapoor certainly seems to think so - in the video clip he names three leading actresses and claims they have had sex with top producers and directors to clinch roles. "So you have to do it just once," he told the undercover reporter.

Mahesh Bhatt, a producer, described sex for screen-time as "Bollywood’s best-known secret" and suggested Kapoor should be fined for his actions.

"The rot is within us," he said. "The casting couch is a reality. It is a power thing, to which vulnerable girls who want to join the industry fall prey."

But Kapoor, who has performed in more than 300 films and is best known for his portrayal of villains, insisted he had neither solicited sex nor made allegations against other celebrities.

He said the video had been tampered with by India television and threatened to sue the channel.

"The tapes have been doctored," he said after the first clips were broadcast. "I never touched her."

The woman had pestered him for months for a film role and he only went to the hotel to meet her when she threatened to commit suicide, he said.

Despite his denial, India’s Film and Television Producers’ Guild urged its members to boycott Kapoor.

"Kapoor has been completely irresponsible in his behaviour and utterances and must publicly apologise to all those whom he has insulted and slandered," it said in a statement.

"The guild is advising its members not to engage Shakti Kapoor in any work in any of their productions."

Preity Zinta, a leading actress who was one of those named by Kapoor, said: "The comment is made in very poor taste. He is truly a real-life villain and deserves to be banned from our film industary

It is confirmed that Bollywood star Katrina Kaif was the first and only choice for Tees Maar Khan.

Jane Seymour has some personal insight into the strained relationship between Kate Gosselin and her Dancing with the Stars partner, professional dancer Tony Dovolani.

“I danced with Tony. I know what she’s going through,” Seymour, 59, tells PEOPLE at the New York Gen Art festival’s premiere of her new film, Waiting for Forever.

Seymour was paired with Dovolani three years ago when she was a contestant on season five of Dancing with the Stars.

She finished in sixth place after weeks of competing despite several health and personal issues, including a bout with food poisoning and the death of her mother.

“Tony’s tough,” says Seymour. “There were a lot of tears.”

Still, Seymour stops short of picking a favorite celebrity competitor from this season saying, “I’m rooting for everyone. I just root for the show.”

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) - Ray J Norwood is a self-described "reality junkie" and now he's getting his big sister Brandy to share his addiction.

VH1's "Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business" follows the musical siblings and their parents as the Norwoods work together to move their careers to another level.

"I think it's going to open up a lot of doors for me and for Ray," Brandy told CNN.

A sex tape with Kim Kardashian and two seasons of a dating reality show - "For the Love of Ray J" - boosted his celebrity.

Brandy earned teenage fame as TV's "Moesha" and as a successful R&B recording artist, but a Los Angeles freeway car crash more than three years ago interrupted Brandy's career. She was uninjured, but another driver was killed. The publicity and lawsuits that followed slowed her down, but now Brandy's ready to move on. "I think it's believing in yourself and just staying positive even in the times where it doesn't seem that you can come through anything," she said. "And that's what I did."

The doors Brandy wants opened lead to "the right album and going in the direction that I feel like I need to go in as an artist," she said. "I feel like that show is going to help push that along."

While Brandy's success comes from her "true talent," Ray J said he is "more media driven."

"With me, some of my success not only comes from being talented but from just wilding out in the media," he said.

Much of the drama in their new show centers on Brandy and her mom trying to tone down Ray J's infamous "wilding out."

"I try not to wild out too much and have too much fun because that might throw my focus away from the business possibilities," he said.

Sonja Norwood, their mother, has managed their careers since they were teenagers. The transition of responsibilities from the mother to the children is central to the show. "She represents strength and loyalty and all about the business," Brandy said. "Sometimes it's hard for her to switch the manager hat from the mom hat, so you see that dynamic as well."

Brandy and Ray J are working together on an album and they each have their solo music projects. "I'm a reality junkie now," Ray J said. "I can't stop. I'm addicted

Our pollies may be battling over thorny election-year issues such as climate change, boat people and health care, but young voters care more about the doomed girl-meets-vampire romance of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga.

Four in five under-30s have no trouble identifying Edward Cullen, the angst-ridden, vegetable-eschewing hero played by Robert Pattinson in the film adaptations of the best-selling novels.

They're a bit hazy, however, when it comes to flesh-and-blood Australians. Just one in three Gen Y voters can name the Opposition Leader in their home state, the survey of 1001 Australians aged 18-30 revealed.

Only one in four could identify Quentin Bryce as our Governor-General, while a mere one in 20 knew Prof Patrick McGorry was Australian of the Year, says research conducted by PureProfile for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Victorian Opposition Leader Ted Baillieu appeared unfazed by the survey results.

"I am very confident young Victorians care a lot about their community and issues that matter to them," he said.

Advertising guru Neil Lawrence, the creative brains behind the Kevin 07 campaign, said young Australians' lack of engagement with the democratic process was an issue. "Most people under 30 are making increasing use of new media, and social media in particular," he said.

"I'm sure the people promoting Twilight would have made great use of them. There'd be lots of blogs and chat-rooms. But most politicians, let alone Governors-General, aren't really making use of the new media young people use."
